Established in 1995, the Council includes agencies and organizations
that provide services to children and families, schools, parents
and community members. Quality services exist in our communities.
Coordination and collaboration among those who provide and those
who use these resources adds strength to our communities.

The Council recognizes the value of families to the community.
We wish to work in partnership with families to assist them in
meeting the needs of their children, with emphasis on children
from birth to age eight. Our mission is to share and disseminate
community resources by networking, coordinating services, and
collaborating to build alliances.

Our Activities include:
- The Early Childhood Family Support Program, a free family-
visiting program, to support parents of children (Birth to 3)
using the nationally recognized Parents as Teachers Born to
Learn curriculum, in the communities of Cudahy, Oak Creek, South
Milwaukee, and St. Francis, Wisconsin.
- A directory of community resources
- Monthly networking meetings for members
- Parenting information distribution.
- Workshops for child care providers and parents
